Our tutors

Jeremy Golan was born and raised in North York Ontario, a suburb of Toronto. His father is Rabbi (or a Jewish community leader). He holds an HBA (History and English), BMGT (project management), and a graduate degree in Theology. Jeremy is currently licensed as a government officiant and chaplain. 

Jeremy has a "special heart" for all children, helping them achieve their academic and social dreams.

Diogo is an Ontario Certified teacher than brings years of experience and training to Maple Leaf. His special areas are both English and Science. His teaching style is very creative and quite hands-on. Taking complicated subjects, Diogo is able to get students excited about the topic, improving their grades along the way.  

Kevin is a retired (OCT) teacher from the Catholic school board. His areas of focus are English and history. He is great at motivating young students, allowing them to develop the skills needed for both life and school. He is a very patient man, someone who is kind and considerate. Kevin's teaching style is organized and methodical, giving students structure and guidance. 

Darlen
During his studies in high school, he was in the IB program and participated in the Debate Team, Student Athletic Council, Economics and Investment Club, and Chess Club. Darlen was the student president at Dallington Pollinators Community Garden where he demonstrated to the City of Toronto how climate change led to floods that harm ecosystems leading to the imple

Abina graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English literature. Her speciality is helping students develop their own writing ability.

Tefna graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in the social sciences. She is able to teach science, English and math.

Yasaman

English, math and science 

Yasaman is currently in her final year of her engineering program at the University of Toronto. She is a skill teaching, making math and science fun for her students. Due to the competitive nature of her program, she is strong academically in all areas, able to teach English to a variety of ages and levels. 

Shianne

English and Humanities

Shianne graduated from the University of Toronto with a mjaor in English literature. She is kind and compassionate, encouraging students to speak out and get involved. She is dynamic and inspirational, causing students to "dig deep" and realize their potential.

My name is Maira Muthunayagam and I am a recent graduate from the Honours Life Science Program at McMaster University. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Management at the Schulich School of Business. One of my passions is helping others achieve their goals, and my favourite subject is math. Maggie graduated from a prestigious interrnational university with an engineering degree. After moving to Canada, she earned an addition computer sciecne degree from York University. 

Nilu

English, Math and Science

Nilu did all of her education at Branksome Hall, a prestigious girl's school in Toronto. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in lifescience. Now she is in medical school, looking to use her skills to heal the world.

In high school at Clarkstown High School South, Dev was a QuestBridge Scholar, U.S. Presidential Scholar Semifinalist, Amazon Future Engineer Scholar (one of 100 nationwide), and National Merit Scholarship Finalist.
